It's February already!, I can't believe January has flown by this year!! No doubt this year will fly by too, - what did you want to achieve in January? Did you manage to achieve it? Well done if you did!

For me, My diary was full of productive meetings, which made me feel great. Which leads me nicely onto my hot topic this month of Believing in your Self.

When you believe in yourself -
 Anything is possible !

Climb any mountainIf you don't believe in yourself, who will? Are you aware of the decisions that you make everyday? Do you understand why you make these decisions? Choose to see yourself as a talented, happy, successful person. Think about all of the good things in your daily life. Instead of thinking about the things that you did wrong, or didn't get to do, what did you do right, and what are proud of.

Who do you admire? Why? What makes them different? What self-belief have they got, and how do they carry themselves? How can you mirror that image of them on you, and look and feel more confident in yourself.

What did you achieve today? It could be anything, starting a new job, cleaning the house, said hello to your neighbours, got up on time. First step in believing in yourself is to take small steps towards positivity in your mind. Every day think of one good thing or event that makes you happy, makes you feel proud of yourself.

By focusing on your positive qualities you make progress then trying really hard to excel at something you're less strong at. The confidence this gives you makes tackling challenges easier because your in a more productive and positive phase of mind.

Write a list one thing each day, for 14 days, and see what pattern emerges, then you can move forward making the necessary changes in your life. It will boost your knowledge of yourself, finding out about you, then making small changes, as to what make you happy.

What can you do now to improve your self belief and make it better?I bet you didn't realize how many existing skills that you already have. Make a list of these skills yourself, then ask a friend what skills do you think you have. This exercise alone will build your self-belief.

What would you change now if you could? What would you do a lot more of?

  • Goal Setting - The power of actualization.
  • Perseverance - The means to self-confidence.

As for me,if I didn't believe in myself - I wouldn't be working for myself, and not enjoying my chosen career. I like to see people improving themselves in front of my eyes, after a few coaching sessions - you can see the changes happening, it makes me feel even more proud of myself. My goal is to grow the business even more than last year.
